Last week to celebrate The Green Hornets’ heroic missions, the United States Air Force had a Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey landing at the National Museum Of The United States Air Force.
Thanks to the kind folks at the museum for allowing me to photograph this vertical takeoff and landing aircraft for them and for my aviation photography portfolio. You never realize how loud helicopter blades are, but when you are 100 yards away the sound is deafening. The aircraft came in from the south and landed to the west of the buildings.
