After a beautiful Dayton wedding ceremony, Bethany’s wedding party and I headed to Fraze Pavilion in Kettering, Ohio for fifteen minutes of unique, on-location Dayton wedding photography. This is the second wedding of the year that I’ve taken Fraze Pavilion wedding photos. Working with a limited amount of time, I was able to utilize props such as umbrellas and flowers to create one-of-a-kind images for this fun bride and groom. We were also able to throw fallen leaves into the air to create a colorful plume of leaves in front of the Fraze Pavilion entrance.
During nearly all 123 weddings I have photographed, there has been some type of external time crunch that I have had to deal with. Bethany’s time with me was for six hours, and we were able to make the most of every minute! This Dayton wedding party was attentive and energetic, allowing me to create the fun, posed images below.
Fraze Pavilion is not always accessible to the public, but on the wedding days when I have been there, it was unlocked. I never trespass, so this was a blessing. Lincoln Park is always open to the public. There are very few good backdrops for photos anywhere here, so we. spent about 10 minutes there. I loved the leaves and umbrellas. The other times I have been here only with the bride and groom. This is a good photo location for couples who go to concerts at Fraze Pavilion.
