Coming up with fun unique or hilarious wedding photo ideas can be staged or can happen naturally at nearly any wedding. Pictures with emotion are often the best images from the wedding day and make photographing a wedding very rewarding. Finding memorable moments to capture is difficult because these often happen very quickly., and I can’t be everywhere at once. Additionally, people are shy when a camera is around, so many people clam up when they see me. I then have to work harder to get a laugh from them. When I succeed, the results will make you laugh every time you look at the picture. Here are some fun unique or hilarious wedding photos ideas.
Many times I can get beautiful photos of the wedding dress, wedding shoes, wedding bouquet, and wedding rings while looking for those fun one-off photo opportunities. I will also photograph the important parts of your big day. Everything I capture can be part of a wedding album you create. I love having fun. I convey this by capturing the beauty in all moments from the wedding; funny or serious.
Fun Ideas On The Dance Floor
Most of the humorous wedding shots I have taken have happened on the dance floor with the bride and groom and the wedding party. Usually, this is after a couple of rounds of adult beverages. I’m up for anything, and I’ve been asked to photograph some crazy things. I love being asked to shoot new settings and situations, so throw them at me.
Creating relaxed, laughter-filled, and timeless wedding photos is one of my favorite aspects of being a Cincinnati and Dayton photographer. Unscripted and candid wedding photos are always a pleasure to capture!

Some of the craziest wedding photos I have taken are exits featuring sparklers or smoke bombs, drunk wedding reception guests, and cute couples speeding away at the end of the night. Everyone has their take on a wedding ceremony and reception which makes photographing these even more enjoyable. I expect to photograph the unexpected!
