Just 30 minutes north of Dayton lies Timeless Events At High Acre Farm in Piqua, Ohio. It offers a stunning wedding venue. The venue has a unique charm. This beautifully repurposed horse farm sits on a beautiful countryside landscape. There are trees, ponds, and rolling hills. This setting makes it ideal for indoor-outdoor weddings. As you arrive, you’ll travel along a picturesque road flanked by trees and ponds, leading to a spacious parking lot. There are three distinct buildings surrounding the lot. To the south, there is a repurposed horse stable. To the west, you will find a transformed breeding barn. On the north, a reception and party hall completes the trio.
The Buildings Of Timeless Events At High Acre Farm
The southernmost building at High Acre Farm is a charming brick-and-beam structure. It has several guest rooms for rent during weddings or events. These are ideal for out-of-town wedding party members. Nearby, the ivy-covered main building features a spacious bridal suite, groom’s suite, and a kitchen with dining area. This unique Miami County wedding venue is special but requires a bit of a drive from Dayton.
The northernmost building completes the “U” shape formed around the pond, situated close to the other two buildings. It serves as the party and reception venue, offering a large, versatile indoor-outdoor space. A striking wall of glass opens onto a patio overlooking the pond, providing an elegant setting for guests to enjoy the view on pleasant days. The venue includes ample seating, a spacious patio with a fire pit on the pond’s edge, and a separate catering room and buffet area at the back for efficient meal service. Additionally, a nearby barn adds to the charm and functionality of this beautifully designed venue.

The bridal suite, in the westernmost building, is designed with several large windows that let in ample natural light. It features a sitting area, tables, mirrors, changing rooms, and a bedroom, providing all the space needed for the ladies. The suite’s spacious layout accommodates larger wedding parties, ensuring everyone has plenty of room to get ready comfortably. Similarly, the groom’s preparation area is generously sized, offering a practical and inviting space for the groom and his party.
A Groom’s Suite With Plenty Of Room
The groom’s suite features a bar, large TV, comfortable seating, and bold decor, creating a stylish, relaxed space for the groom and groomsmen to get ready. The venue also offers a spacious dining room and a fully equipped kitchen for overnight guests. Each room is thoughtfully designed for privacy and comfort. These two suites at High Acre Farm are outstanding examples of what suites should be.
Outdoor Lakeside Ceremony Location
The wedding ceremony takes place outdoors in the center of the U-shaped layout, with rows of chairs facing east toward a raised stage and pergola. The space comfortably fits the couple, officiant, and wedding party. After the ceremony, the chairs are cleared to reveal a spacious, well-lit concrete area for the reception and dancing. Guests can explore or gather in smaller groups, creating a relaxed, dynamic atmosphere. It’s not the kind of venue where everyone stays in one space.
High Acre Farm in Piqua is well worth the drive. This five-star, first-class Dayton-area wedding and reception venue is truly a gem. If I could photograph weddings at Timeless Events at High Acre Farm every week, I’d feel thrilled!

It has been a few years since I photographed my first and only High Acre Farm wedding. I very much want to shoot several more, because I believe this is one of the best wedding venues in southwest Ohio. I’ve been to dozens in Dayton and Cincinnati, and very few rival High Acre. Both aesthetically and functionally, this is nearly a perfect wedding venue. Don’t be deterred by the quick drive to Piqua. This venue will leave your guests with a truly magical wedding day memory.

I stuck my phone out of my sunroof and filmed a beautiful video of the drive into the property. What would High Acres Farm, the best Piqua wedding venue, hold for me?
Why Is This The Best Piqua Wedding Venue?
In Piqua, Ohio, just 30 minutes north of Dayton, I discovered the best hidden gem I have ever photographed. This former horse farm offers nearly perfect scenery, only limited by its distance from a major metropolitan area. The owners transformed it into one of the most beautiful outdoor wedding venues I’ve seen. The ceremony space sits outdoors, while the receptions take place in an indoor-outdoor party hall. On this cool day, we kept the giant doors closed, but I can only imagine how amazing a summer wedding would feel here. Unfortunately, the weather kept us from using many of the outdoor features.
The wedding suite and the groom’s suite are the largest in the area and feature all the necessary amenities. The party room/reception hall is huge and features glass garage door panels facing a beautiful patio and lake. The outdoor wedding ceremony area is situated between three buildings and faces a lake. We had the use of a golf cart to roam the majestic rolling hills. A+++++
Enjoying The Bride And Groom
Lastly, I enjoyed this bride and groom, a lot. I had no idea what to expect since they booked me only a few weeks in advance. When I walked into the wedding suite, I was greeted by the bride and the bride’s mom and immediately felt at home. I told them how impressed I was with the venue already and that I had been highly anticipating this wedding. I am sure my wife is glad this event is over because I couldn’t stop gushing about it.
