Kettering Ohio’s Fraze Pavilion Wedding Photography Ideas And Photos

In the summer of 2015, I had the chance to photograph two Dayton brides. Each bride wanted to create unique and candid Fraze Pavilion wedding photography. They sought these photos between their weddings and receptions. The challenge of photographing two different wedding parties at the same place on back-to-back weeks is creating unique poses. It also involves coming up with new ideas.

Bride #1 And Her Fraze Pavilion Wedding Photography

Jennifer and her wedding party were open to doing a few fun group poses and several sweet bride and groom images.  With Fraze Pavilion and its signage as a backdrop, I was able to capture the couple’s love for each other.  The posed and fun wedding photography at Fraze Pavilion only happened because Jennifer gave me ample time to set up shots, create a fun atmosphere, and shoot beautiful images.

Bethany and her wedding party also wanted to create one-of-a-kind Fraze Pavilion wedding photos and gave me 15 minutes to do so.  We utilized umbrellas and leaves to create never-before-seen wedding photos at Fraze Pavilion.  This experienced Dayton wedding photographer was energized when told that the time frame was 15 minutes.  We created 20-30 great images and had lots of fun doing so.  I recommend Fraze Pavilion’s concourse area and Lincoln Park to do formal wedding photos, candid wedding photos, and Dayton engagement photos.  Although I am a Dayton engagement photographer as well, I have never photographed an engagement session at Fraze Pavilion.  I have, however, photographed several Dayton concerts at Fraze Pavilion.

Wedding Photos And Poses Kettering Ohio

After a beautiful Dayton wedding ceremony, Bethany’s wedding party and I headed to Fraze Pavilion in Kettering, Ohio for fifteen minutes of unique, on-location Dayton wedding photography.  This is the second wedding of the year that I’ve taken Fraze Pavilion wedding photos. Working with a limited amount of time, I was able to utilize props such as umbrellas and flowers to create one-of-a-kind images for this fun bride and groom.  We were also able to throw fallen leaves into the air to create a colorful plume of leaves in front of the Fraze Pavilion entrance.

During nearly all 123 weddings I have photographed, there has been some type of external time crunch that I have had to deal with.  Bethany’s time with me was for six hours, and we were able to make the most of every minute!  This Dayton wedding party was attentive and energetic, allowing me to create the fun, posed images below.

Fraze Pavilion is not always accessible to the public, but on the wedding days when I have been there, it was unlocked. I never trespass, so this was a blessing. Lincoln Park is always open to the public. There are very few good backdrops for photos anywhere here, so we. spent about 10 minutes there. I loved the leaves and umbrellas. The other times I have been here only with the bride and groom. This is a good photo location for couples who go to concerts at Fraze Pavilion.
