On a fall 2018 afternoon, I spent a few hours wandering around downtown Louisville, Kentucky. One location I wanted to photograph was downtown Louisville itself. Below are images of some interesting architecture that caught my eye while exploring Louisville. I didn’t set out to photograph a specific building or location. Wandering around cities doing real-time discovery of things is so much fun for me.
If you have a few hours free in Louisville, take some time to walk around. Start on the main “museum row” downtown. There are so many unique buildings, interesting angles, and historic properties. I chose to go down a few north-south streets as well. This would be a great city to photograph newly engaged couples for the engagement sessions. I would also love to photograph weddings in downtown Louisville!
One of my goals is to photograph a Louisville engagement session, preferably including bourbon. Although I do not drink, I love the bourbon culture that envelops Louisville. There are several amazing bourbon distilleries, breweries, and unique buildings. Call or email me if you’d like me to be your photographer! It is an easy 2.5-hour drive for me. Let’s work together to make your day great! I am a Dayton Ohio based travel photographer.
