Dayton Ohio’s best bike night is at Rip Rap Roadhouse in Huber Heights Ohio. Below are images from the first unofficial Dayton bike night on March 30, 2016. Although I specialize in Dayton wedding photography, I enjoy creating useful commercial photography in Dayton Ohio for businesses. On this night, I photographed the motorcycles at this newly renovated bar and restaurant near Huber Heights, Ohio.
I later created headshots of the servers that work in the bar and restaurant. I have also been back several times to photograph all aspects of this restaurant. One of my favorite commercial photos I took here is the Rip Rap Roadhouse logo reflecting off the brand-new bar top surface. It is a beautiful shot that shows off the branding and the ambiance of the bar.
I had never photographed a brand-new business. Roadhouse used to be an abandoned barn turned terrible restaurant. The owner and others put in thousands of hours and countless dollars to bring this Huber Heights bike night to life. 2023 Update: This restaurant and bar seem to be doing great, and a few years ago they added the Rip Rap Shake Shack for ice cream treats. If you are looking for King’s Island’s blue ice cream from the 1980s and 1990s, you can find it here!
I have so many images of motorcycles, trikes, and sidecars. Motorcycles that I spotted at Dayton’s best bike night (Wednesday nights near Huber Heights) include Harley-Davidson, Yamaha, Indian, Honda, and more! I enjoy photographing these beautiful pieces of art and engineering.
