Eastwood MetroPark Dayton Marriage Proposal Photography

In March 2021 I was asked to photograph a marriage proposal at Eastwood MetroPark, part of the Five Rivers MetroPark system. This is the second marriage proposal I have been honored to photograph in the past year. It was a beautiful surprise marriage proposal atop a stone bridge at one of Dayton’s great parks. She was shocked and said yes! I always say yes to Dayton marriage proposal photography requests. Love it!!

Setting Up For Dayton Marriage Proposal Photography At Eastwood

The groom had me set up on the far side of a footbridge while he and his girlfriend arrived. As they neared the bridge I think she saw my camera and the guitar player. Possibly, she was wondering what was going on. At the apex of the bridge, he got down on one knee and proposed to her. It was really nice. I had been hiding down low to keep out of sight. A cool early spring day meant that very few people were at this east Dayton park. So I obviously stuck out. Regardless, she was very excited. We followed up the proposal with an engagement session in the Oregon District.
