Wedding Photos At Dayton’s Most Hectic Park

Cox Arboretum MetroPark Dayton’s most hectic park, provides a natural outdoor location for a Dayton wedding. This recent wedding was surrounded by green trees, blue sky, and billowing white clouds. The staff is always friendly here, and I am permitted to photograph in the Five Rivers MetroParks. Since 2007, I have been a Dayton photographer. I’ve been to Cox Arboretum dozens and dozens of times with each of them being different than the last. This park is always busy, so get there early if you choose it for your wedding!

I do have to caution potential wedding couples about having your wedding here. For outdoor weddings, there are three things to take into account. First, there is no shade, so a hot and sunny day will be challenging for some people. Second is that there is no cover, so rain can become an issue. Third is the crown of park guests that are constantly walking by. Weddings usually take place around the busiest time of day at the park. Don’t choose to have your wedding here if strangers are going to get on your nerves.
