As a professional aviation photographer, I have photographed hundreds of aircraft, dozens of types, and numerous airports. In 2026, I added a career highlight to my #avgeek resume. Professional Pilot Magazine hired me to shoot the cover and story. This would be my second magazine cover with my first being University or Dayton magazine. I photographed the P&G (Procter & Gamble) aviation department in Cincinnati Ohio!
The two aircraft I photographed were two Gulfstream business jets. These were two of four beautiful business jets available for photos. I opted to use one of the large ones and one of the smaller ones. After consulting with the ground operations team, we were able to place the two aircraft on the apron. Once the hanagar doors shut, were were able to begin the photo shoot.
I spent 3 hours photographing the aircraft, maintainers, pilots, flight attendants, and executives. For the magazine, I had several shot to get. After I completed the requirements, I spent the remaining time photographing groups of people that P&G requested.
For each group, I took some in front of both aircraft combined as well as in the shade between the larger Gulfstream and the hangar. I photographed the pilots first so they could leave the airport. I then photographed the maintainers which was really fun. They work hard keeping these airplanes looking good. The flight attendants were a fun group to chat with, but the wind made hair fly everywhere. The office operations team even posed for their own photos.
After finishing the group shots, we moved into the hangar. I photographed the aviation department leadership on the steps of the larger Gulfstream. When the flight attendants saw the setup, they asked for photos there as well. I welcomed the request because the location worked beautifully. I wrapped up by photographing the chief pilot seated in the cockpit of the larger Gulfstream. Turning on the cockpit electronics added a polished, dynamic touch to the images.
I was really thankful for this opportunity, and I hope they have me back for more photo opportunities.
Below are some of the aircraft-only photos. Once the magazine is published, I will put the magazine cover and spread here. For privacy reasons, I am not displaying any photos of the P&G employees. Today I am showing off these beautiful exec jets.

The four Gulfstream jets were meticulously maintained and were beautiful. When I arrived all four were parked in the hangar. I had been walked through the operations area prior to entering the restricted aircraft area. While I have been in numerous hangars, this was by far the largest. There was enough room to bring one of the jets from the back to the outside without moving the ones in front.
Everyone that was present was truly present for the photos. I didn’t have to ask anyone to put phones down or to listen while I gave directions. I could tell these were all professionals at their jobs. As I always do, I used a little humor to put everyone at easy. Don’t get me wrong. I never say inappropriate things, and I don’t use foul language.
Here are a few other examples of the executive jets that I have photographed in Cincinnati, Ohio:
