Destin Wedding Photographer Is A Goal

In July 2018, I took a trip to Destin, Florida, just west of Panama City and just east of Pensacola.  The majority of this vacation was relaxing, enjoying family time, and doing lots of swimming in the pool and the Gulf of Mexico.  A small part of the trip was to scout the Emerald Coast of Florida for wedding and reception locations. By all accounts, it was a successful trip to the coast. But I wanted more. I want to be a Destin Beach wedding elopement photographer.

One of my goals as a wedding photographer is to photograph destination weddings specifically beach weddings.  Upon visiting Miramar Beach and Destin, Florida, I am more excited and determined than ever to accomplish this goal.

The images below are of a wedding set up on the beach where Crystal Beach Drive and Scenic Highway 98 intersect.  I did not photograph the wedding and had no part in it, but I loved the way the ceremony location was set up facing the ocean with chairs and a wood pergola. There was no one around so I grabbed a few photos of this. Due to the beach being an east-west beach, sunrise and sunset shoots are both an option.
