In August 2022 I photographed a long-time friend’s wedding at Kamp-A-Lott campground in Bellefontaine Ohio. This wedding featured dozens of people I have known for years. The groom brought a 1933 roadster vintage car which I used to create bas-ass vintage car wedding photos. This was my 223rd wedding and first at a campground. The images show a little bit of camp while elevating the location to create beautiful wedding photos.

My first wedding of 2022 was for a really nice couple who married at Richmond Indiana’s Fourth Floor Blues Club. This club is only accessible by going up an old freight elevator to the fourth floor of an old factory. Upon exiting the elevator, you are greeted with a beautiful open floor plan, brick walls, and tons of natural light. This is where this Richmond Indiana wedding took place. On the other side of the wall is a huge blues club with a full bar and seating for 100+ guests. This wedding was great, and the venue was stellar. Although I am a wedding photographer in Dayton Ohio, I travel to Richmond Indiana for weddings.

“Excellent photographer and very professional!!” This is the kind of review every photographer lives for. This couple braved a cold day at Dayton’s busiest MetroPark to create some fun portraits. They were a beautiful couple whose outfits were absolutely perfect for the cold park setting. In addition to their fall color outfits, they changed into matching “just married” t-shirts. I gave them mad props for braving the cold with long sleeves and even bigger props when they walked around in their short sleeves. These two grooms made my 215th wedding as a wedding photographer in Dayton Ohio so great. I have photographed several LGBTQ weddings in Dayton, Cincinnati, and Columbus, but this was my first wedding with two grooms. We had a great 30 minute portrait session at sunset on a golf course in 30 degree temperatures. They were so great following my subtle directions and even had ideas of their own. I love photographing LGBTW weddings in Dayton, LGBTQ weddings in Cincinnati, and LGBTQ weddings in Columbus. Love is love!!

The awesome floral artists at Beavercreek Florist in Beavercreek Ohio put up one heck of a beautiful display of floral arrangements at my Dayton Arcade wedding in October 2021. The flowers were impeccable both on the tables and in the bouquets. They complemented the beauty of the Dayton Arcade. In September 2020, I photographed a fantastic and fun wedding at Dayton’s most unique wedding venue, Boonshoft Museum of Discovery. Between getting ready time and the wedding, we went to Wegerzyn Gardens to do all the formal photos. At this beautiful MetroPark in north Dayton, we did all of the family photos, bridal party photos, and bride/groom photos. It was a cloudy day and was perfect for outdoor portraits.
