Cincinnati Memorial Hall
Memorial Hall OTR in Cincinnati’s historic Over-the-Rhine district, stands as a small but beautifully constructed event venue and reception hall. This nicely restored venue was built in the early 1900s to honor veterans. Its grandeur lies in its Beaux-Arts style, characterized by intricate detailing, 4 large columns, and an ornate facade. It sits in stark contrast to Cincinnati Music Hall next door (giant and made of red brick).
Today, Memorial Hall OTR is a cultural hot spot. It hosts a vibrant array of events, including concerts, performances, comedians, and community gatherings. These events breathe new life into its halls while preserving its rich heritage. With its timeless charm and diverse programming, Memorial Hall remains a cherished cornerstone of Cincinnati’s cultural tapestry. If you haven’t seen the inside in person, I highly recommend it. I have seen concerts here and have done engagement photos here as well.
My Take On Having A Memorial Hall OTR Wedding
This is a smaller wedding venue in Over The Rhine, just north of downtown. Although this building and Music Hall are both on the National Register Of Historic Places, they are modern. It is a beautiful historic building that hosts smaller weddings, events, parties, and concerts. Having your wedding at this Hamilton County historic venue will be memorable and intimate. This is a great place to have a smaller wedding too!

3CDC’s Cincinnati Memorial Hall OTR Interior Photos
In December 2017, I legally photographed the Cincinnati Memorial Hall OTR in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio. OTR Cincinnati Memorial Hall is booked by Cincinnati’s 3CDC and is beautiful, inside and out. These photos are interior photos of this historic sister venue to Cincinnati’s Music Hall. It sits next to the Music Hall in Washington Park. Check out my Memorial Hall OTR interior photos.
Creating Memorial Hall OTR Interior Photos
When you walk up to this historic building in Over The Rhine, it seems quite small. Upon entry, there is a small lobby and two entertaining rooms which frequently have pre-show bars for drinks and snacks. When it is time to enter the venue you make your way upstairs to the auditorium. The first thing that you notice is how small the venue is. I would guess it holds 300 guests or so. The other thing that strikes you is how beautiful and ornate this room is. I couldn’t stop looking around at the ornamentation. The acoustics in this room are excellent, and in my opinion, second only to the Andrew J Brady Music Center.
