Friday, May 6, 2016, was the Victoria Theatre’s 150th Anniversary Instameet sponsored by #Daytongram. I am a well-known Dayton wedding photographer who spends his free time creating impactful commercial photography. Photographing iconic Dayton properties such as the historic Victoria Theatre for great organizations such as Dayton Live is a pleasure. I really enjoy a few commercial photography gigs each year. Below is the first set in a series of Victoria Theatre images from this photo session. These images feature Dayton’s oldest theatre, having survived two fires and the flood of 1913. I have a love for theatre and a deeper love for this place. In high school’s Muse Machine, I was a stagehand for two Broadway-style musicals. Thankfully, I saw every inch of this building including the lighting rigs in the ceiling, pictured below.
