Every few years I decide to take a weekend trip to New York City to create amazing images for my portfolio marketing. August 2019 was my most recent trip, and I was extremely happy with the various photo ideas I came up with. Since I have been to NYC three other times, I spent a lot of time on this trip finding new and interesting locations that would be beautiful for use as wedding photography locations and engagement photo spots in NYC. The Knickerbocker Hotel Times Square is the best New York City hotel!
For my 2 day trip into the city (Manhattan), I chose to stay in Times Square, as my favorite hotel, The Knickerbocker Hotel NYC is located there. This hotel is high-class and expensive, but the central location and quality of everything at the hotel cannot be beaten. The staff is excellent, and I love photographing the property! Give it a shot next time you visit New York City! Find it at 42nd Street and Broadway. I am a Dayton Ohio based travel photographer.

We recently stayed at The Knickerbocker New York City on 42nd Street at Broadway, New York City’s most hip hotel. The Knickerbocker impresses from the beginning. The staff is professional and attentive, the operations are flawless, and maybe most importantly, it’s just a cool place. Its modern decor, spacious rooms, and details set this hotel above all we’ve stayed in New York City.
If you make it to the Knickerbocker, be sure to check out their rooftop bar with a phenomenal view of Times Square. You can’t help but imagine the view from here on New Year’s Eve. They also have a coffee shop on site, Jake’s, that is a perfect morning stop with grab-and-go food options and fantastic coffee. The gym at The Knickerbocker is small, but still top-notch, offering a variety of equipment for your workout needs.
I’d be remiss not to mention the most important amenity at The Knick – location. Right in the heart of midtown Manhattan, directly across from Times Square, this is the perfect location if you’re planning to hit the famous NYC tourist spots. You can’t go wrong at this five-star hotel. The only negative to staying at New York City’s most hip hotel is the craziness of Times Square.
