I am a wedding photographer based in Ohio who would love to be your Gatlinburg wedding photographer.  I know the places to go that are popular and the places that most people don’t know about.  There are easily accessible parts of the National Park that I go to with zero traffic.  I’d love to discuss shooting your elopement wedding in Gatlinburg.

Other Things To Do In Gatlinburg

In Gatlinburg, Tennessee, there are many tourist attractions and things to do.  Most of these are well-known such as Ober Gatlinburg, UTV/ATV rentals, downtown Gatlinburg, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and the numerous Ripley’s attractions.  One of the lesser-known things to do in Gatlinburg is to take Route 321 east from the main drag.  This takes you past Food City and out into the country.  About 4 miles down the road is the Great Smoky Mountains National Park Greenbrier at 101 Greenbrier Rd, Gatlinburg, TN 37738.

This amazing, lush, and beautiful part of GSMNP is far less busy than the main road leading to Cherokee, North Carolina.  This park is a one-lane road that follows the Little Pigeon River up into the mountains of Tennessee.  The road follows the river south and features tons of amazing river views and also features numerous places to get out and play in the river.  The boulders range from basketball-size to the size of a school bus. This area is very tranquil and unpopulated.  You will most likely encounter up to 300 people but no more.

For a Gatlinburg, Tennessee photographer, this off-the-beaten-path part of Great Smoky Mountains National Park is a must-photograph location.
