Although I don’t normally post about salons, I want to give a huge shout-out to Preen By Appointment in Oakwood, Ohio.  This hidden gem in a retro mid-century modern building located on Patterson Road is the best pre-wedding photography location I have had the pleasure of photographing.  I want to start off by saying I love the look of this building. It is something straight out of Palm Springs, California.

Saturday’s Polen Farm wedding was filled with firefighters and fun people.  The bride and groom arrived at Polen Farm / Polen Farms for their wedding reception in a vintage fire truck.  The bride had arranged a vintage firetruck rental and had alerted me. After the church wedding ceremony, we went outside to watch the groom’s surprise. He was blown away. The wedding couple got in the truck and drove away.
