Cox Arboretum engagement photos are always beautiful and enjoyable. This newly engaged couple was willing to try so many poses and locations at Dayton’s most popular park. A lot of laughter occurred, which made the photos so much better. I always love the natural expression and emotions that couples bring out in each other.
In June 2022 I connected with this fun young couple. They wanted pregnancy announcements and engagement-style photos at Miami County’s Charleston Falls Preserve. We had a great time creating the most unique and fun-filled engagement photos I’ve ever taken at Charleston Falls.
On one of the windiest days of 2022 in Dayton, Ohio, I photographed this newly engaged couple at Deeds Point MetroPark and the Oregon District. As an engagement photographer in Dayton, I have photographed at both locations many times. Deeds Point is beautiful and overlooks downtown Dayton Ohio and the Great Miami Riverway. We were planning to split our time between these two Dayton engagement locations, but due to the wind, we spent more time in the historic Oregon District. This couple was one of the most fun couples I have photographed, and I wish I was also photographing their wedding.
In November 2021, I photographed an absolutely gorgeous engagement session at Hills And Dales MetroPark in Kettering, Ohio. This couple was so much fun and did a great job for me. She picked great colors that complemented the foliage colors at this Dayton park. I prefer to use Dogwood Pond rather than any other part of the park. The pagoda, pond, and walking trail are a perfect little spot for intimate engagement photos in Dayton.
On a beautiful Saturday evening in April 2021, I photographed my third marriage proposal. This marriage proposal took place at Cox Arboretum MetroPark near Dayton and was followed by a fun-filled engagement session. This newly engaged couple was so much fun and were open to all of my suggestions. As Cox Arboretum is a very popular engagement photography location in Dayton, I tried hard to get unique and different engagement photos for this couple. These are some of my favorite engagement photographs ever. Thank you! I love being a Dayton wedding photographer, Dayton engagement photographer, and Dayton photographer.
A few years ago on the hottest weekend of my life, I had the pleasure of photographing this awesome couple in New York City’s Central Park. I have been a Dayton engagement photographer, capturing sessions all over Ohio, but this was the first time I was able to create beautiful Central Park engagement photos. The weekend I was doing Central Park engagement photography was extremely hot with high humidity. It was nearly unbearable, and the couple and I did our best given the conditions. It was a once-in-a-lifetime photography opportunity, and I am very happy with how these engagement photos New York City turned out. It was an amazing day being New York City engagement photographer!
In March 2021 I was asked to photograph a marriage proposal at Eastwood MetroPark. This is the second marriage proposal I have been honored to photograph in the past year. It was a beautiful surprise marriage proposal atop a stone bridge at one of Dayton’s great parks. She was shocked and surprised, and she said yes!
A while ago I took an hour to photograph an engagement session with a great couple and some of my favorite aircraft at the National Museum Of The United States Air Force. I enjoy shooting some of the USA’s mightiest fighters and bombers. I also enjoy engagement photography. What better things to put together?

For the first time in a few years, I photographed a couple at Carillon Historical Park (Carillon Park) in Dayton, Ohio. This great collection of Dayton historic icons is located just south of downtown Dayton. For a small cost, the three of us spent 2 hours create fun and unique engagement photos in this history-laden park. There were backgrounds such as old buildings, vintage trolley cars, and a carousel. We spent a lot of time in Carillon Park’s transportation center, a Dayton wedding venue.
