Just before Christmas 2022, I photographed this thoughtful couple’s wedding at Polen Farm in Kettering, Ohio. It had been a few years since I shot a Polen Farm wedding, so I was happy to be back. This couple was having a pre-Christmas wedding complete with Santa Claus and presents for the kids. It was a great day for everyone, and a great day to end the 2022 wedding season as a Dayton photographer.

I have received this type of comment time and time again. Everyone can look good in photos in photos by any photographer. The skills needed to photograph a person are the easy part. Where I excel and set myself apart is being able to bring out the best in my photo subjects. I do my best to create a fun, professional, and relaxed photo session. I can always find something in common with the people in front of the camera which allows them to feel at ease and open up to me.

After each wedding, I send an email to the wedding couple.  I thank them for their wedding and then ask if they’d be willing to leave a short review of the experience they had with me.  Finding out they love their wedding photos is the best, but I love to know what they thought about working with me.
