I’m an Ohio-based wedding photographer and would love to capture your Gatlinburg wedding. I know both the popular spots and hidden gems. I often visit quiet, easily accessible areas of the National Park with no traffic. Let’s talk about photographing your Gatlinburg elopement.

Other Things To Do In Gatlinburg

Gatlinburg, Tennessee, offers countless attractions. You can explore Ober Gatlinburg and enjoy UTV rentals. Visit downtown shops, Ripley’s sites, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. For a quieter experience, take Route 321 east from the main strip. Pass Food City, and continue about four miles out. You will reach Great Smoky Mountains National Park Greenbrier at 101 Greenbrier Rd.

This lush, peaceful section of the Smokies sees far fewer visitors than the main road to Cherokee, North Carolina. A one-lane road winds along the Little Pigeon River, offering stunning views and plenty of spots to stop and explore. Massive boulders—some as big as school buses—dot the landscape. The area feels serene and secluded, with only a few hundred people passing through on busy days.

This amazing, lush, and beautiful part of GSMNP is far less busy than the main road leading to Cherokee, North Carolina. This park is a one-lane road that follows the Little Pigeon River up into the mountains of Tennessee. The road follows the river south and features tons of amazing river views and also features numerous places to get out and play in the river. The boulders range from basketball-size to the size of a school bus. This area is very tranquil and unpopulated. You will most likely encounter up to 300 people but no more.
